It was over 3 years ago we found this amazing gem in Mn. Such a great staff and friendly faces the first time we stepped foot at The Outback Ranch. We fell in love with the place. We bring our horses every Memorial Day weekend and we now make it a tradition for my husband and I. So much beautiful terrain to ride on.

We would highly recommend having your wedding at Outback Ranch! Jake and Holly were awesome to work with from the beginning to the end. So accommodating and personable. Quick responses for the bride that has lots of questions 😊 We received SO many compliments about them and the venue during the wedding and after the wedding. We had a band perform and they said it was one of the coolest wedding venues they had performed at.

Our guests loved the beautiful scenery, horses, open space, and basically everything!

Gorgeous place and great hosts. Love the pasture option for horses. Make sure to condition horses as trails are a definite workout and some pretty challenging and strenuous. Some trails are rocky, especially newer ones so boots or shoes might be a good idea. Also not a bad idea to carry some water for horses on long rides as there is no water along trails. Some of the southern Oak Ridge/ Wetbark Recreation State forest trails are closed due to being purchase by private landowners. Current map of Oak Ridge/ Wetbark Recreation area is online on DNR website.

We love staying at Outback Ranch for our girls horse trips!! Holly and her staff are very friendly and accomodating and the property and riding trails are amazing. We are looking forward to our next visit already... and we just got back home!

Hi Holly; My family has been coming to the Outback Ranch for our deer hunting adventure (our deer camp) since 2016. We use both the Casa De Outback and the Wrangler Room. It's roughing it, without really roughing it. All we have to bring is food, as everything else is furnished, including the availability of 4 bathrooms. Totally enjoy it and relaxing.

I put on a music festival (The Galactic Get Down) at Outback Ranch, and Jake and Holly were amazing to work with. They have a beautiful family, and take amazing care of their beautiful property. They are professional, accommodating, and really care about the experience of each and every person that comes to Outback Ranch. A beautiful location for a private wedding surrounded by nature. It is also a great place to camp with cabins and places for campers and a large indoor space for the reception. Beautiful near Houston MN.
